Movie Recommendation: V for Vendetta

I was really surprised but I LOVED V for Vendetta. It's futuristic but not science fiction. It's not a "if it moves shoot" type movie. The story is interesting, similar to "A Handmaid's Tale"; government control and abuse and people being afraid of their government. Only in this story, someone is trying to do something about it.

Maverick

In Merriam-Webster maverick is defined as: an independent individual who does not go along with a group or party. Well we are a book club that goes against most book clubs. While we do sometimes read the same book it's not always at the same time. We love all kinds of books and meet once a month to discuss them over lunch(w/o out giving too much away). There are times, being friends, we have lunch and forget about the books! Even more so when we do discuss them we forget who read what and whether we liked it or not. So lets post our current and favorites by title and whatever we want to say about the book (w/o giving too much away), and the rest of us can comment.
